Chongqing BoLanYing Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (China) was founded on Dec 1, 2015, in the Promotion/Service Center of Innovation Productivity, the 3rd Keji Road, Xiyong, Shapingba, Chongqing, by F Liao and G Long.
After nearly ten-year studies, the founding team of Chongqing BLY Biotechnology Co., Ltd. developed a new technique for the modification of particles (no. 201610963764.X in China and PCT/CN2017/082374), leading to magnetic submicron particles (MSP).
Such MSPs have 0.6 μm diameter, giving mass-averaged surfaces greater by 60% and physical volumes smaller by 75% than Dynabeads Myone® series. They have thick hydrogel surface for the wonderful hydrophilicity, much larger conjugation capacity for proteins, and higher specific activities of conjugated proteins due to the use of long linear arms. The MSPs functionalized with streptavidin exhibit nearly twice binding capacity for biotinylated proteins than equivalents of Dynobeads Myone while the antibody-functionalized MSPs have the binding capacity for antigens greater than four times of those conjugated with MSPs from Merk.
